She says what she thinks no matter the consequences and she is very witty. She doesn’t agree about society’s standards of marriage and she is true to herself and has her own thoughts and is opinionated in her own personal point of view. And she doesn’t agree to any man just because of his income or just because she has to get married at a certain age. Like she said “only deepest love will persuade me into matrimony which is why I will end up an old maid.”
